The Brownieby ~RMOriginalArt

Traditional Art / Paintings / Fantasy

Acrylic paint on 36cm x 46cm stretched canvas.

Created in response to a call for entries at Howden Park Centre, Livingston.

The composition is based on Fibonacci's golden spiral. The Brownie is a shy (normally ugly) creature from Scottish legend who is said to have done work around the home at night in exchange for gifts of food. My son was the model for this Brownie. He has stopped sweeping the papers from the floor because a light has recently been turned on. This painting will be part of an exhibition at the Art Centre in Livingston in early 2013.
